Rosicky EXCLUSIVE: Barcelona has an excellent team, but the referee hasn’t done good job

Footballers from Arsenal had mixed feelings, when they returned on Wednesday morning from a failed mission with Barcelona. They knew that they lost with a great competitor, but they couldn’t believe what referee has showed. The Swiss referee Busacca controversially sent away Van Persie and then strangely kept changing verdict before penalty of home players. Tomas Rosicky was pleased that his coach trusted him.

Tomas, were you suprised with Barcelona?
"It is difficult to estimate, but it was seen that Barcelona had difficulties to go through our wide defensive block. A year ago the Inter Milan knocked Barcelona out  with deeper defensive and our chances would have definitely increased at the end of the match, when Barcelona usually can not keep the presink. "

Would your game has a chance for success if you have finished the match at the full number?
"Certainly it would be more difficult for Barcelona! In addition, the exclusion was totally incomprehensible verdict. I was on the football pitch and  sometimes we couldn‘t hear a word because of the noice from platform, it was easy to overhear the whistle. It was totally insensitive decision, only the best referee should whistle these matches. Indeed, it was not the only strange verdict. I do not know whether  it was seen on TV show, but the referee showed before the penalty  that it would be kicked from the goal, and when the domestic fandoms shouted at him from plattform, he has changed his decision. On the other hand, i must say that our opponent has a great team and showed  an excellent performance. "

Were you at least sutisfied that the manager Wenger gave you a chance in such an important duel?
"Of course i was pleased with that. But i cannot be perfectly happy - we are out  from the Champions League. "

You are excluded from the second of four competitions, where you could still think about  the trophy two weeks ago. What does this mean for upcoming games?
"We are still in two most famous english competitions  and have a great chance to experience a very successful season. On Saturday we will play in the FA Cup on the Manchester United field. This will be a proper fight! "
